A new poem

Hello my friend!

Short little newsletter today. I read something on Instagram yesterday that spoke to me — something that I could relate to 100%.

I identified with each of Dr. Caroline Dickens’ words. During pregnancy I’ve experienced ambivalence probably more than any time in my life prior to this. The amount of strong and palpable feelings on all parts of the spectrum inside me is truly overwhelming, but also amazing. Being a human is quite the thing, isn’t it?

During this time, there have been certain parts of my experience that I feel compelled to write about in poems. This is the poem I worked on over the last few days:
